Everdene

My debut novel was Everdene, based on a classic from English Literature (but not mash-ups of the public domain work – all the words are new). This novel used the ‘bare-bones’ of a classic novel’s plot and character’s traits and brings them into a contemporary environment, spiced up, and with deleted bits that are no longer relevant to modern day, or additional bits. The aim being to provide my adult readers with contemporary romance novels, while encouraging reading of the original classics to then compare them (great for book club discussions).
