His Campaign
Coming (very) soon is His Campaign, the first novel in a new series I’ve had a bit of fun writing. What started as a romantic (and a bit steamy) comedy to fit well with election fever over the pond (that’s the US Presidential elections I’m referring to), developed into a much bigger story-line with a fair bit of intrigue.
What happens when America’s youngest-ever Presidential hopeful – who also happens to be single – suddenly finds his campaign is diverted to win the heart of not only a nation, but also the most commitment-phobic woman he’s ever encountered. Will he succeed in either of his campaigns, or does he stand much more hope of success by focusing on his lifelong dream.

To be titled – historical fantasy
I haven’t yet titled this ambitious project, but there’s actually two trilogies under development that will have Book One, Two and Three of each published concurrently. If the story-line ends up working how I’ve plotted it out to, then one trilogy is for children (likely 9-12 year olds) and the second is for adults. The ‘grand plan’ is that parents can read one trilogy, while their children (or nieces and nephews, students or whatever) can read the other. Neither gives away the plot arcs (if you read them at a similar pace), as the adults trilogy visits the back-story of the characters at the same chapter points as they are happening in ‘real-time’ in the children’s books.
You’ll be able to tell that I watch Outlander and Vikings, and that my niece is forever telling me about Frozen, as you read the novels as I drew inspiration from all of them. The first books of the trilogies is being aimed for release in 2018, although I am currently in early stage talks with publishing companies (rather than self-published) as the children’s market is more specialised.
Other works
I had great fun writing Everdene, and did publish the novel in my own name. I have a backlog of short stories that I've started to revisit in a similar genre, and intend to publish these in 2017 under a slightly-altered pen name that I originally used (before the era of 'Fifty Shades' - that show's my age!). As my website is now developed for a wider audience, I won't be adding content for over 18s onto the site, so my pen-name site will be live soon.
